The Legal Advocacy & Access to Justice program is designed to equip law students in Ghana by providing them with structured practical legal aid experiences, professional mentorship, and hands-on advocacy training. Participants will learn how to interview clients and draft basic legal documents. They will have the opportunity to visit superior and lower courts to observe how judges conduct trials and lawyers argue cases. Participants will also get involved in community outreach programs, educating people in villages about human rights, child protection, domestic laws, and related issues. They will receive mentorship through real case files and investigative work, gaining practical skills that are often missing from classroom learning.
