The Story

The Office in Accra, Abokobi, sits in between Ghana’s hidden Fort, the Frederiksgave Fort, plantation settlements where enslaved workers lived and the European Cemetery. Abokobi, an old colonial village where the Basel Missionaries first settled has vast social infrastructure deficit.

Through volunteerism and networking, iLeap was incorporated to close social infrastructure gaps across vulnerable communities in Ghana and not just Ga East District where Abokobi is the district capital. Infrastructure underpins development because it can influence development far into the future – both positively & negatively.
